Plus
Plush and comfy as any cinema in the world
Large screen. Good sound
Sofas!
There was ample parking on Friday night for the 8:30 show
"Family" tickets were Rs 300
Movie was only 5-10 mins late
No propaganda, no ads, no previews, no announcements. Straight to the film.
Polite informative staff. Decent crowd
Minus
A no cellphone announcement may have helped. Maybe. People not only let them ring, but answered them in detail
AC on full blast
Occasional screeches in the soundtrack
You can order fries (and other munchies) throughout the film. This is good for you. Not so good for others as the guy with the plate looks for you in the dark.
Website is on its way
My cook said that this place has the best shawarma (written shorma in Urdu sometimes) in Sadar. I went there last night. Me. What's in the special shawarma Waiter 1. I dont know Me. Why is that? Waiter 2. He is new here. He does not know anything Me. What is in the special shawarma? Waiter 2. I dont know. I am new here also I find the "owner" and find out that it has extra chicken. I order two Me. What is the Dhaka Chicken? Owner. I dont know. My brother is here sometimes. He knows. Overall the shawarma was tasty. It was very desi style. Some spicy chicken in a ketchup sauce wrapped in a doughy bread. Nothing the people of Lebanon would recognize. The only flaw was that there was a lot of gristle (cartilage) in the chicken.
